It's great there. There are a lot of nice shops and it is super nicely decorated. You can be there for several hours and still look around. Central, beautiful and very well attended despite Corona.

Don't get your hopes up that this place is a real mall, but it's has about 30 stores or so, and a good variety, but mainly clothing stores. To be honest, it's nicely decorated so its good for instagramers, but it's a pretty typical mall.

The Kaufingertor has its roots in the early history of Munich, which goes back more than 800 years: where the passage is located today, there was once a city gate at the time of the first city wall. Meanwhile, it is just the name that recalls the long history of this place. The modern, clear architecture and the "man with outstretched arms" invite you to shop with taste. The figure balances above the entrance to the passage and, through unusual light effects, casts a captivating game of shadows on pedestrians. "Horizonte Urbano" is the name of the artistic light line, which symbolizes the abstraction of a sunset. The installation was created by Deseo Design Agency. This elegant aesthetic concept also opens up to visitors in the passage of about 70 meters in length. Delicatessen shops with tempting snacks encourage you to buy some of the delicacies. Fashion and footwear stores are also represented by agencies. And finally, you will find another highlight in the goldsmiths' studio, where individual pieces of jewelry are produced.
